Kevin Nowlan (American, b. 1958) is a highly regarded comic artist and inker whose distinctive linework has appeared across both Marvel and DC Comics. His notable credits include Doctor Strange, Moon Knight, Batman, Superman, Green Arrow, Man-Thing and Jack B. Quick with Alan Moore. He is also particularly celebrated for his collaborations with Mike Mignola, including work connected with Hellboy, and for completing and inking the long-awaited Gene Colan Captain America graphic novel. His work as both penciler and inker has made his original covers especially recognizable.
A strong late-1980s Wolverine cover featuring the title character prominently in costume, entirely penciled and inked by Nowlan during the character's first ongoing solo series.
