Olivier Ledroit (French, b. 1969) is one of the leading figures in European fantasy and gothic comic art, celebrated for his extraordinarily detailed, richly coloured and often macabre imagery. He first rose to prominence as the original artist of Les Chroniques de la Lune Noire (The Black Moon Chronicles), the influential fantasy series created with François Froideval.

Ledroit is particularly renowned for his long-running collaboration with legendary British comics writer Pat Mills on Requiem, Chevalier Vampire (Requiem Vampire Knight), as well as the dark fantasy trilogy Sha. His other major works include Xoco, Les Arcanes de la Lune Noire, La Porte Écarlate, Wika, Le Troisième Œil (The Third Eye) and his lavish fantasy illustration collections L'Univers féerique d'Olivier Ledroit, L'Univers des Dragons, Fées et Amazones, Belles de Nuit, Mélancolie and video game Heroes of Might and Magic.

Known for working extensively in direct colour, Ledroit's distinctive combination of Gothic art, dark fantasy, vampires, medieval imagery and intricate decorative detail has made him one of the most recognisable artists of modern Franco-Belgian fantasy comics. His work has been published by major European publishers including Dargaud, Glénat, Soleil and Vents d'Ouest.
