Matchbox Regular Wheels Canadian Market 1960/1961 Issue Retailers Counter or Shop Window Display Stand - An unusual 5-tier metal display stand, comprising of a wire frame with 5 open mesh metal shelves & Tinplate "Matchbox Series" detachable header which illustrates 27c Cadillac Sixty Special (see photos). Stand measures approx 12 inches wide x 12.5 inches high x 10 inches deep (approx 30.5 x 31.5 x 25.5cm) - overall in good displayable condition, with some paint loss, some red paint marks to bottom tier which is aslo slightly bent towards the centre, the detachable header also has some scratches. This is the first time we have come across this particular display stand, which has been consigned by a Canadian vendor. We are not sure if this was only available within Canada? As there is no Fred Bronner Trade Mark on the stand we assume these were locally produced and not available within North america as a whole.
