Matchbox Superfast Bowater's Printers Proof Empty "New" Type L Box For 16b Pontiac Firebird - 1980 Copyright proof box without green cross circles to inner end flaps; black Bowater internal factory works order sign off stamp "Customer: Lesney, Works Order No. COL 56024 dated: 05/08/80, which also states "Copy correct in all respects except for: Material", the box having been printed on a noticeably heavier & thicker grade of card. Box does not have the print registry number to the end flap tab alongside the Bowater Trade Mark, these were only added once the full printers sheet was completed, being dependent on where the box was positioned on that main sheet - Excellent with some scuff marks along 1 edge, but please note that this box has only been folded along 1 side, it otherwise remains flat & has not been made up in the past.
