Artist: Clint Langley
Clint Langley is a British comic artist and illustrator best known for his extensive work for 2000 AD. His credits include Judge Dredd, ABC Warriors, Sláine, Nemesis the Warlock and other major strips from the long-running British science-fiction anthology. His later work became particularly recognisable for its highly detailed combination of digital painting, photographic elements and traditional drawing.
Langley's association with 2000 AD stretches back to the early 1990s. His work on Judge Dredd: The Enemy Below in 1994 therefore represents an interesting early stage in his career, displaying the traditional drawing, inking and colouring techniques that preceded the distinctive digitally rendered approach associated with much of his later work. His 1994 credits also included Dinosty, while subsequent work established him as one of the prominent visual interpreters of Pat Mills' ABC Warriors and Sláine.
