Original fully painted color comic artwork by Carlos Ezquerra from Judge Dredd: Necropolis, one of the landmark Judge Dredd storylines. Written by John Wagner, the 26-part epic was originally serialised in 2000 AD Progs 674–699 in 1990 and brought together storylines developed through The Dead Man and Countdown to Necropolis.
This striking page features the Dark Judges, with the macabre painted imagery and saturated color characteristic of Ezquerra's work on the saga. Necropolis sees the Sisters of Death enable the Judge Death to return to Mega-City One, transforming the city into a vast necropolis and resulting in the deaths of more than sixty million citizens.

Carlos Ezquerra (1947–2018) was one of the most important artists in the history of British comics and the co-creator and original visual designer of Judge Dredd. Closely associated with 2000 AD from its earliest years, his distinctive work helped establish the visual identity of Judge Dredd and Mega-City One.
