Matchbox "1988 Premium Promotion" Mailshot Pack - containing Made in Macau (1) Convoy CY-8 Kenworth Cabover "This Truck Delivers" with 1988 calender to Trailer roof; (2) MB38 Ford Model A Van ""This Van Delivers!" - both Mint in Near Mint Boxes, outer plain card mailing box is Fair. This particular pack was mailed out to Mr K.G. Wilson, the Marketing Manager of Crookes Healthcare Products Ltd and resulted in Matchbox being commissioned to produce a number of premium products for the company. The original hand signed 2-page letter from Gerry Tekerian (Marketing Manager of Matchbox Toys) to Mr Wilson dated November 1987 and date stamped as recieved on the 8th December 1987, is also included along with the reply postcard. Fantastic piece of Matchbox brand history!
